3 Way Locking Style Plug & Socket

Our quick disconnect plug and socket system provides a safe, reliable, and easy-to-maintain cable coupling system for any environment where an emergency disconnect is required.  Our products are currently used in traffic poles, posts and columns, earthing cables for road tankers and other breakaway equipment. This quick disconnect cable system is specifically designed for installations where emergency disconnection of the power supply is required.                                                                                         

In the event of an impact causing a signpost, lighting column to shear, our plugs and sockets ensure the supply cables disconnect cleanly, preventing the pole from being tethered by the cables.

The quick disconnect system range is available in 2, 3, 4, 5, and 16 way configurations but can be customised to a varying number of pins.  The cables can also be made to any specified length making the system completely customisable.  Each connector is factory-moulded assembly, providing a dust-tight and waterproof IP68-rated joint, suitable for submersion in up to 6 feet of water when capped or mated.

Our quick disconnect system features a robust body and is rated to a maximum of 20 amps at 1500 volts to ground, ensuring durability and electrical safety in demanding roadside environments.
